Southern Death cult were a short lived band - 1981 to 1983 - who disbanded before recording their first album. Singer lan Astbury went on to form The Cult. Beggars Banquet released an SDC compilation in 1983 which included three tracks recorded at this Rafters gig.

The original of this poster was printed by Matthew Rich at the print shop in Jackson Crescent, Hulme in 1982. It was a large quad crown (30 x 40 inches) sheet and almost all of them were fly posted on the streets of Manchester. This is a half size reproduction on quality poster paper made from the original artwork and printed by the original printer.
