This must have been one of Prince Far-I’s last shows in October 1982. It’s on record that his last ever live performance was also in Manchester two months later at The Band on the Wall (7th December 82) He was shot in a robbery back home in Jamaica in September 1983 and died later in hospital. The PSV club in Hulme, Manchester had, a couple of years earlier been The Russell Club, Factory records venue for their earliest gigs before the Haçienda was built. The original of this poster was printed by Matthew Rich at Lola Publicity in Moss Side, Manchester in 1983. It was a large quad crown (30 x 40 inches) sheet and almost all of them were fly posted on the streets of Manchester. This is a half size reproduction on quality poster paper made from the original artwork and printed by the original printer.
