This print was made from a photo taken in 1983 of the doorway to the disused Shaw's Furniture showroom. It’s a prominent Manchester location on the corner of Oxford St and Whitworth St West just around the corner from the Hacienda. A prime spot for our flyposting campaign for the Haçienda’s first anniversary.

That doorway was later the entrance to The Cornerhouse Arts Centre and now the Arts, Culture and Media hub of Manchester Metropolitan University.

In 1983, we used a photo from the same shoot as a promotional flyer for Lola Publicity, our screen print and flyposting business.
